Lyrics

[Cold Open — Spoken]
Annunaki...
Open the channel.
Low light.
Old stone.
Dust where the footsteps end.
There’s a door beneath the story.
And somebody made sure
we forgot it was there.

[Verse 1]
Torch in the corridor, gold in the fracture
Hand on the wall where they plastered the chapter
Dates don’t align and the names disappear
Whole generations go silent right here
Shelf after shelf with a century missing
Ink in the margins like somebody listening
Scrape on the tablet where something was taken
Seal on the doorway, but somebody broke in
I came for the story they handed the living
Found every version had something omitted
Same little gap in a dozen traditions
Same empty chair in competing editions
That ain’t proof, so I follow the thread
Read what survived, then I study what’s dead
Who held the stylus? Who funded the scribe?
Who chose the memory permitted to survive?
Slow with it...
Don’t make the absence say more than it knows
But don’t call it nothing when patterns expose
A hand in the archive, a cut in the seam
History polished till power looks clean
I kneel by the fragments and number the pieces
One says the king, one remembers the priestess
One from the worker who carried the stone
Funny how his is the first one that’s gone

[Refrain]
Read the margin...
Read the scar...
What was near...
What was far...
Count the pages...
Count the names...
Something’s missing
from the frame.

[Verse 2]
Deeper below where the air tastes metallic
Steps getting narrow, inscriptions erratic
Symbols get older the farther I descend
Same sacred story with a different end
Language mutates but the pattern persists
God becomes title, then title becomes fist
Myth becomes mandate, mandate becomes border
Memory kneeling to authorized order
WaitWait—
There in the mortar, concealed by the plaster
Older inscription underneath what came after
Not revelation, not proof of a master
Just one more layer they buried much faster
That’s when the room starts changing its weight
Not from a spirit, from evidence stacked
Every deletion becomes an event
Every surviving account has context
I don’t need fantasy filling the holes
I need the inventory, authors and roles
Carbon and clay, provenance, chain
Who made the copy and who changed the name?
Bring me the variant, bring me the shard
Bring me the version they labeled too hard
Bring what agrees and what contradicts
Truth doesn’t fear when the pieces don’t fit

[Refrain]
Read the margin...
Read the scar...
Follow the hand...
Follow the mark...
Count the pages...
Count the names...
Who decided
what remained?

[Verse 3]
Now there’s a chamber behind the collection
No decoration, no royal inscription
Door like a wound in the back of the hall
Black iron binding from ceiling to floor
Wax on the lock with a crest half-eroded
Catalog number deliberately broken
Dust everywhere but a path to the seal
Somebody visited. Recently. Still.
Third Mind online.
I put my ear to the door—nothing speaks
No ghost in the stone, no oracle leaks
Just that low frequency under the floor
Like buried machinery waiting for more
Glyph on the threshold I’ve seen once before
Same little mark on a censored report
Same configuration carved into the ridge
Different civilization identical bridge
Coincidence?
Maybe.
So mark it, don’t worship it.
Question, don’t kneel.
A mystery cheapens the second it’s sealed
with an answer you wanted before it revealed.
That’s how the old trap rebuilds in the new:
Trade one approved story for one made by you.
No.
Bring every fragment.
Bring every doubt.
Bring every witness they edited out.
Bring me the record before we decide.
Bring me the names from the other side.

[Break]
Open it...
Open it...
[female chorus]
Open it...
[Kai’Thael — Spoken]
Not yet.
First...
I want to know
who locked it.

[Final Verse]
I see fingerprints burned in the wax of the seal
Layers of ownership hiding what’s real
Dynasty, empire, temple and state
Each left a signature somewhere on the gate
Different hands, different centuries, same
Privilege deciding who enters the frame
Some were forgotten, some records decayed
Some disappeared because choices were made
That distinction matters.
So keep every fact where the fury can see it
Anger without truth is another false prophet
I didn’t come down here to manufacture blame
I came for the ledger.
I came for the names.
And now...
I found the lock.

[Outro]
One breath.
Metal turns.
The seal breaks.
A page moves in the dark.

[Kai’Thael — Close Whisper]
Who sealed the record?
Who buried the names?
